Committee Position Descriptions:
Editor
-
Read the qualifying submissions in the wave assigned to you. Must have a superior grasp over the
English language in order to be able to thoroughly edit (grammar/syntax) and revise
(content/concept) submissions fairly and consistently.

Sit on article selection committee, each submission under serious consideration will be voted on by
the committee and the final decision rests with the Editors-in-Chief, to be selected fairly and
consistently at their discretion.

Edit shortlisted submissions, which may include researching and checking sources & facts to
ensure the essay is not only well written, but accurate before publication. This may include sifting
through the bibliography and editing individual citations.

Other tasks as needed for the continued success, growth, and publication of the Review.
Podcast Lead

Host the Podcast: Serve as the primary host, delivering engaging content and conducting interviews with legal experts.

Develop Content: Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief to create and execute the podcast's editorial vision and manage episode planning.

Lead Production: Oversee podcast production, including managing team members and ensuring high-quality episodes.
Podcast Researcher

Conducting in-depth research on the podcast’s interviewees, including reading past publications, existing online commentaries, and topics of interest.

Conducting research into potential interviewees, liaising between the Editors-in-Chief, Podcast Lead, and Publicity Officer (2) to keep correspondences current and active.

Assisting in the script-writing for each interview.

Other tasks as needed for the continued success, growth, and publication of the Review. This includes commitment to carrying on the podcast into the next academic year.
Publicity Officer 2

Regularly updates and manages the LSLR website. Will require skills with web formatting/design, on the facilitating platform Wix.

Will be in charge of recording, posting, and editing the newly launched podcast. Episodes will start off biweekly but become weekly if well received. Requires basic skills with audio software.

Communicates, publicises, and promotes all Review and Review-associated events on the Web Homepage.
